New tank a little over 2 months old. It has a small bioload: 75 gallon w/ clownfish pair, YWG, Wrasse, and a starry blenny. My nitrates and phosphates bottomed out with a GHA bloom. The GHA is gone now, but my nitrates are still 0. Should I stop running my skimmer? The tank gets cloudy looking through it long ways if I do and that drives me nuts. I am waiting until the end of the month to add another round of fish.

I would run it for sure, just adjust it as mentioned above. Have you tried activated carbon for the cloudy water?

Thanks all.

I run it pretty dry. I have run activated carbon for a couple weeks. It did a little bit but not a lot. I also put a 100 micron filter sock. I think it's just new and maybe still having bacterial blooms. That is one reason why I am waiting for the next round of fish. If like to see if I can clear it up more.
