I plan on picking up some cleaner shrimp soon, and the answer seems to be split on what everyone does. What is really the best way to go about it?

I put them in fishless frag tank. Then transfer them to dt when they shed their exoskeleton.

Totally agree. I QT everything "wet" - shrimp, crabs, snails, new corals, fish (separately from inverts, of course). I do hold my shrimp for a full 45-60 days whether they shed or not, just out of an abundance of cation, and because I don't mind the extra wait time.

Good luck!
