I just bought my first BRS dosing pump and plan to add two more. It’s going above the sump somewhere. Can you show me pics of how you mounted yours? Dosing is new to me and I’ll take all the help I can get!!!

I mounted mine to a shelf plank from home depot. Makes it easy to take them out for maintenance.

The first two BRS pumps I mounted were placed on 45 degree standoffs:

These were for Alk and Calc dosing, and here's one pump going into the equipment cabinet.

Shortly thereafter I added a third BRS pump on the back wall, mounted sideways, to dose DIY NOPOX.

I keep thinking about actually mounting the 6 I have, but they just work well sitting on the cabinet floor. So there they sit, 2 in front and 4 behind the Voss bottles. I just can’t get past the worry of drilling and screwing into a cheep stand that’s holding almost a 1000 pounds.

What do your setups look like with the tubes going into the tank?

Here's the Alk and Calc tubing coming into the sump

and here's the tubing ends in the sump... sorry, poor picture with all the wires and other pipes.....from right to left, calc, alk and in the far left, behind the baffles, the NOPOX line.

Keep the alk and calc lines above the water level....otherwise, they will precipitate in the tube.

Interesting, I have been thinking about ordering a couple. They seem to be larger than I realized.

Is there any chance of them back siphoning?

These peristaltic pumps pinch the line and don’t let flow in either direction when off.
Also the ends of the drip tubes are always above the highest water line (even when return pump is off), so there is always an air gap on the output.
