Wish I had a pic of it, but I got this frag from a local guy that was a cream color with bright blue tips. I had it way too high, and the thing went completely white. After looking at it 100 times, I couldn't talk myself into tossing it, as it just didn't look dead to me. I'm glad it didn't, cause it came back a gorgeous bright green and has been growing great.

Here goes a before and after red milli i found that bleeched out in the buys tank.

yeh i can see polyps and stuff on my stuff so ill be working on it. i saw you had a 12" tall tank on another thread and have your 150w placed at 16". My sunpower is 14" high now above my 12" tall tank, you think im high enough?

Oh yeah, also add how long it took to get back the color. Im finding out it could be as short as 2 weeks or longer than 6 months

Yeah, it depends on how your higher peices are doing. If they are bleaching out, raise that sucker up a few inches and see how they respond. For now, just put it on the bottom and it'll color back up.

It took my piece several months to regain any color, but it was worth it :)

By the way, I'll be in Dallas the week after next. Any shops that are a must see down there? I usually come to Dallas one week every other month. This time I'm down there Feb 13-18th.

Haha, I'd say so. Is it on its way out, or has it stopped receding? I have a colony thats like that, dead on the bottom part, but looks fantastic on the top.

If your in Dallas, you should go see Marc Levinsons (melev) new set up. He lives in Ft Worth.
Last time I was there I spent the afternoon with him.

Yeah, that was one place I had wanted to go while I"m there. My office is in Plano, so northeast part of Dallas. Not sure how far away that is from Ft Worth but I'll check it out. I'll be down in Dallas every other month.

I was in Frisco and its about 25 minutes changing on a couple of different freeways, but not bad.

Ahh...Frisco is where my hotel is. Our main datacenter is in Allen, and the office is in Plano, so I'm right around that area. Thanks for the time, thats awesome.

check neptunes cove since youll be in plano. you might find something you like, every once in awhile he gets something good. will you be in town for nextwave?

What is NextWave? haha.

No, my team is based out of Plano, TX and I run the team based out of our office in Jeffersonville. Our data-center and IT office is down in the Plano area, which is why I"m down there every other month.
