I got the Red Matrix from a Jared a while back. I had it in a system I couldn't quite get right. Browned on me. Considering how I treated it, I'm surprised it didn't die. I now have it in a thriving system. It's encrusted a ton. Really starting to color up. Quickly becoming one of my favs. Here's a few pics taken a few weeks ago by someone who knows how to take pics.

Just took this one with my phone.

Neither cameras can capture the intensity of the green.

Where does everyone have their's places? And what lighting.

Mine really starting popping right under a 7 bulb Constellation, 4-5 inches directly in front of an mp10. Ton of light, ton of flow.

Right under my T5s at the top of my tank it has blue tips with most metallic red body. I just love that metallic shine it has.

Mine is the center right Acro. It is coloring up after running too much GFO and then having red bugs. It has encrusted a lot and both frags have grown together. Ill get a better pic in a few days and post it. For some reason the coralites have smoothed over. Im hoping it gets more 3D looking now that I have my tank more stable.

Here is a picture of my Red Matrix...it is one of my favorites too! Added a picture of my Blue Matrix too. The Red Matrix has much thicker branches than the Blue Matrix in my system.

Wow! Your Red Matrix looks beautiful! Would you please share lighting and flow conditions?

I run a very high flow SPS reef with lots of light consisting of the following: four MP40s & two MP60s, all set at 100% full blast mode along with three 400 watt Ushio 14k halide bulbs powered by Icecap ballasts and Lumenarc III reflectors.

Wow, you don't mess around! Looks like those corals are in sps heaven with all that light and flow. I think flow is one thing I have underestimated over the years. I love the texture the acros get under high flow. All my sps corals grow into the flow even when they are getting blasted. Looks like I will be saving up for another Mp40 soon.
