I don't have one, but would love to one day. I'm planning a macro algae tank, maybe I could add one to that.

Is there a specific kind of mantis you are wanting?I don't have one, but would love to one day. I'm planning a macro algae tank, maybe I could add one to that.
I love the peacock mantis, but I think they need a larger tank so maybe a purple spot mantis. I like the yellow ones too as they are very bright and noticeable. Is there a specific kind of mantis you are wanting?
Yellow is one of my favorites also because of how vibrant it is!I love the peacock mantis, but I think they need a larger tank so maybe a purple spot mantis. I like the yellow ones too as they are very bright and noticeable.
She looks like she is patiently waiting for her next meal lol What is her favorite food? Here’s my girl (and her full tank so you can see her size, it’s about 70 gallons):
Where are you located?Got one in a LR order from KP aquatics. Here he is! Also free with the rock to somebody for pickup. Haha. Cool to watch but don't want another tank for him.
He should be fine with whatever you feed your tank. I’m guessing he’s really small? Mine would happily grab anything I handed them or whatever they found on the sand/rocksCentral IL. If you're in Sacramento that might be too far!
Genuinely interested in keeping it fed while I do have it though since it's in my DT. Do I go to the local grocery store and pick up some shrimp / krill / clam meat and give a small piece to where I think his rock is?
It's pretty wild -- I got to see it punch a hole in one of the rocks to make a new hole.
Ya he was running in circles around a yellow watchman goby and damsel that sleep in the same cave. I was wondering why I haven't lost a fish in the tank yet. One of them is pretty good size too. I have to start counting my hermit crabs even though I think he's left everything alone. Like I said, he came out and grabbed a pellet so he may have just learned to eat like everyone else in the tank. They most likely won’t attack or kill any fish. They might eat any invert smaller than them.
Id thaw the mysis first then put a bit near where he is in the tank
