I have ALWAYS wanted to set up a Fluval Edge as a reef but could never quite figure out how to maintain the system. Could you post some of your specs as to how you keep your beautiful little nano looking and performing soo well?

I hope that my acans color up as nice and full as yours, How long has the tank been setup BTW?

Thank you! I set it up in the spring of 2006 and kept mostly zoanthids for a year or two, then had it full of SPS and most of the acans you see here as 1-5 polyp frags. In the fall of 2008 a power outage hit for over a week while I was out of state and wiped out all the SPS and killed back most of the acans. Thankfully most that was alive when I got back survived and with a few new purchases it slowly turned into how it is now.

Here is a horrible Iphone pic. I tried to do two different arches; one is more like a bridge.

Pretty happy with it, lots of caves. I am going to move some things around and add an anemone soon.

Some very nice nanos and scapes. Goes to show you that all you need is a little imagination. I would have never thought much of this first pick but it really turned out awesome. Great work you guys.

Have you seen any issues with certain corals and that high lighting par near the sand?

No, they're all very happy. :) I was surprised to see these results, must be something maybe with the sand reflection. No issue at all.
