Did you put all that together yourself? I'm lost when it comes to plumbing :squigglemouth: Can't wait to see the main display.

yes I did it all myself, I did add to the system a few times and changed a few peices of equipment, but this is it as to date. And I know the purple stuff is a bit messy but I was in a rush. Next year Im hoping to build the 1100 sqft addition to the house so I can start my big build. 475G Display, 100g fuge, 250 sump, Dual chillers 1 hp, heated thru a closed loop off my house boiler, 250G frag tank, 300g mixing station, 200g ro tank ect

WOW! Thats a lot of pumps. Can't you eliminate some of them with one big pump and a manifold. Your electric bill must be high.

I did simplify it with less pumps.

1 BLUE LINE 70HD for wavysea's
1 REEF FLO DART for frag tank/ fuge
1 BLUE LINE 20 for calcium Reactor
1 BLUE LINE 55 for mixing station
I BLUE LINE 40 to drive the bubble king

My new build will run 1 large Reeflo to drive the closed loop]
Reeflo barracude for return
Reeflo dart to drive the 300g mixing station

ect.....

Wow great lookin setup looks like a maze at first but seems like you must have a heck of a tank is that an alpha vertex I see

That is awesome! My favorite part of a tank is all the plumbing. I wish I had a basement to fill full of pvc. Did you do it all at once or as needed? It is a labrynth in there. Makes my head swim but in a good way.

Bubbleking, I had to change it around a few times to make things work better & simplify things. As I got more into the hobby I up graded to the larger skimmer. I added the fuge and frag tank to the system. Then I added another sump (100g) to the smaller sump. the larger sump houses the heater dual 1000w to make sure I dont drop below 78. Thats like the 5th chiller on my sysyem. Ive had a lot of bad experience with chillers but this Tradeswind is working decent. I then added another 30g frag tank for all my chalices Im now really getting into. This room was all dug out and we poured the floors and built 50" block walls, then 2x6 construction insulated. I have a 800cfm fan with a temp switch to keep the room ventilated. I ran 4 home runs ,20amp circuts for the power demand. I have a built in sump pump into the floor wich I dump the tank water into when I do water changes and when its raining the sump kick on with a built in float keeping everything nice and dry
