a little update on the red carpet....
woke up very early in the morning(2am to get some water to drink) the other day and it dettaches almost nearly touching my open brains....
sooo i had to work on placing it for an hour, and i push more sand in the place where it was...move a bit of rock and just left the carpet there, also turn down the flow so it can attach easily,,,woke up in the morning and it was crawling up in the rock work:xd:
so i had to dig more and push more sand, and move the rock to make a deeper cave...then i push it in the cave and let it attach itself...just less than an hour it dug its foot deep in the cave i made with a sand...
heres a pic of it,it looks like its attached on this pic but its not
here it is now buried its foot deeply in the rockwork....taken with flash
heres a pic i took just right now,if u can see on the front i put a small rock in front of it so it feels secure....
my question to anyone who knows....
is it ok for it to be attached to a rock and not in the sand?i read somewhere that haddonis usually attach its foot buried in the substrate or in captivity in the bottom glass of the tank with substrate and somewhat part of a rock too...but mine is completely attached to the rock and maybe a little bit in the sandbed....it does look like its happy where it is now....i hope it doesnt move anymore..i want it to be happy....
thanks and any inputs is greatly appreciated...
