Yea I just picked up a TAMRON SP AF 90mm Macro lens and a bunch of filters so I am trying to learn how to use it all, so pics and stuff have slowed till I get used to it. I am terrible with a camera but they are coming.
I need to pick up one of those photo tubes.

I have not posted much because it looks like the tank may be moved.
Anyway here is the latest shot. I do have a lot of catching up.
This picture is taken with a new cloud webcam being released for the aquarium hobby I am beta testing. It has a magnet that holds it to the side of the aquarium.

Do not know we are just starting to look for a new place to live. Do not want to add or do anything if we are going to move.
I obviously have done allot to report on since there are corals in it.
All fish are now in quarantine too right now.

Well it is official this tank is coming down and we bought a new house.Well we have not closed yet but it looks like their should be no issues.
I will be downgrading until the basement is finished since there is no where else to put the aquarium.
Everything is going up for sale along with my frag tanks.
I have purchased a Red Sea Reefer 250 to keep me in the game for a while.
I will start a new thread once it shows up and the move is over.

I am using the light mounts from http://www.6061.com/Kessila360.htm Reef light mounts.
These look real sweet and mount to the stand. The nice thing is if the tank is full is they actually can be mounted form the inside of the stand, this way you do not have to frain the tank and move away from the stand if you are adding to a existing tank.. I will get a picture of them on my reef to get a better picture of what they look like. I highly recommend them.

They look great. Is the pivot ball stiff enough to be able to turn the light 360 degrees around to better pinpoint the light, and stay put ?

Are they really $100 each ?

How you like those powerheads?
Gyre? they are great. I have them hooked up to a battery through a icecap module and controlled via apex.
But really the best flow there is. I own some vortechs also and when it comes to flow they do not compare the gyre hands down.
Vortechs do have a few advantages like smaller and the pump is outside the glass transfers less heat, no cord hang over the edge of the tank.
I find gyre have a very wide flow so they are good for frag tanks especially.
Both decent pumps though.

Do not remember the cost. I got it from Nyaquatic but honestly I do not recommend them for anemones.

Sorry it took so long to reply. I am in the middle of a move. This tank is still running but not much left in it.
I am transferring the rest to my Red Sea reefer 250 this week. I know it is a downgrade in size but it is a nice tank and was easy to set up fast.
The move was unexpected and once decided we found a house and had accepted offer in a week.
The house is a little smaller but we decided to travel a little more too. So not having so much invested in a reef aquariums makes it a little easier to leave home for extended periods of time.
I have also shut down all frag tanks and breeding tanks for now.
