I just got a naso tang and in my tank it’s powdery white with cloudy eyes but when I took it out of the tank there’s nothing on it and its eyes are clear! I have no idea what’s going on or if I should quarantine it. It’s late where I’m at so no one else is picking up my calls or texts. Hopefully I can get an answer soon.

Can't tell a lot from your photos but this species does get the white patches/blotches.

Do you have a QT already setup?

IMO any new fish should be QT'd before adding to the display unless you are sourcing fish from a company that does that step for you ... and even then you should place in unmedicated QT to observe behavior for a matter of weeks before adding.

I got it from my wholesaler since I work at a fish shop but they quarantine it, medicate them and they’ve had it for months and was doing fine and eating. I think it’s just stress marks. My other tangs were being rough on it which I knew it would happen.
