After several months of my jawfish moving to a new spot in the tank, I decided to try and create a permanent home for him. All it took was a couple old clam shells and some PVC. I clamped the shells together, then took a 1" diamond hole saw and cut an opening in the bottom. I glued them to the pvc and connected them with 1" PVC. I drilled several holes for air to escape, and that's it. I put it in the corner of my tank, covered it with the substrate and waited.

Can’t stop laughing. Awesome job!

I did the same thing but used a barnacle a couple of years ago.... unfortunately I had some bad luck with my jawfish and my Midas Blenny has taken it over.
