Morning guys,
had a mishap yesterday morning. i was having breakfast with my 7 year old. recently put about 100+ ghost shrimp in the tank and she mentioned that the the shrimp are jumping onto the fish tank inside and getting stuck. so i proceed to be mr cool dad (full well knowing i should've put it on the dinner table) and put my cup of OJ on the bracing of my 180G acrylic and grab my trusty coralife squirter to squirt them off. mr butterfingers drops the squirter into the tank and in my reaction to grab it i knocked over my cup of OJ right into the tank....been watching my tank since i got home yesterday evening and no adverse reactions yet. when i woke up this morning everything looked cool but idk if i was seeing things. looked like my efflo was whitening at the edges. i HOPE i was seeing things....anyways anyone else have crazy mishaps like this? lets hear it!:tongue::tongue::tongue:

I saw someone accidentally drop a cup of coffee into the sump at my LFS. They did a massive water change and ran fresh carbon and everything turned out ok. The skimmer went nuts for a while, but no real damage. I wouldn't be too worried considering the size of your tank, but I'd definitely do a water change to be on the safe side

Water change and carbon is usually the only thing we can do when we drop liquids into our tank that arent supposed to go in.

I had just moved a nice frag of Psammacora digitata to the perfect place. Glued and epoxyied down. I was happy. About 20 min. later my girlfriend was reaching in to grab the seaweed clip, and knocked a small bowl that I use to thaw my frozen food off the center brace. (don't know how that got there) And preceded to break the coral at the base where it was nice and encrusted. So I tried not to freak, grabbed some glue and put it somewhere else. Now the encrusted base is spreading and I have full polyp exstension on it. She unknowingly fragged her first coral!

haha yeah. i threw a new bag of carbon this morning in the tank. i also dose vit-c too so i guess i'll skip dosing this week. i was just concerned about other chems in the actual juice form. Keep the stories coming!
