Welcome everyone to my Red Sea Reefer 250 deluxe build!! This will be my first tank with a sump and a apex controller so very excited to set this up! I am upgrading from a 12g Nano cube so excited to see how different this tank is going to be!

I purchased the tank and all supplies on Monday. So far have gotten everything except the tank haha! Says it is drop shipping today so probably won’t be for a week or two before I have my hands on it. But I will be posting pictures of the journey and my experiences as I go through this can’t wait!

I have never had led before on a tank so this is going to be interesting to figure that one out. I have tried to see what most people are running to set the lights to but seems like people have all different settings. Makes me wonder if i should of just gone with the t5s?

Equipment:
-AI Hydra 26
-Neptune COR 15
-Neptune Apex Controller
-Maxspect Gyre 230
-Finnex 300 watt heater
- reef octopus essence 130
-Tunze Osmolator 3155
-crystal aquatics resivoir

I ended up getting 70 pounds just to give me some different rocks to work with I might be breaking up some of the larger rocks having a hard time coming up with something because a lot of the rocks are kind of big

So made some progress today got the stand and tank on the cabinet and sump placed. Working on hooking up the plumbing next but calling it a night! Tomorrow’s agenda finish plumbing and mount the apex stuff and hopefully have and aquascape figured out!

Well came up with something I liked for the rock but didn’t think about the overflow box so ima just move the rock up to the tank and start playing around and see what I come up with .

Well actually I have bought the cor15 and realized right away that it was smaller the cor15 barely fits in there! Ya I had watched a bunch of pelphreys videos on YouTube and when I got mine it was completely different I was kind of shocked haha hopefully now though I won’t have to buy a bigger ato resivior!

Haha just saw that. Just hope your chamber can maintain level and not have your pump start sucking air.
