I’ve recently started to lower my temps from 76* to 70* gradually. This is a Fowler tank. What I’m noticing is my skimmer is constantly needing to be adjusted. I’m not sure if the lower temps effect the biological filter thus producing less waste. Or the lower temps effect the skimmers performance in another way.

Thoughts opinions. Ty

The microbiology in systems is dynamic with daily to seasonal cycles. You might be seeing shifts due to temp or you might be seeing something unrelated to the temp change. Time will tell.
