Skimmer for 93g under $400

Hey guys. The Diablo was in the Aqueon sump. Had a Tunze ATO so water level was adjusted from the recommended 8-9". Never pulled steady for too long. Talked to Chris at Coralvue, and he said said it really needs a much larger tank than the 75 i had. Smallest he recommended was a 90. Replaced it with the Curve 7. Thing was quiet, and pulled steady constantly. A true set it and forget it addition.

The Rls is on my 80 frag tank with a larger trigger sump. Probably 90 gals total. Being dc powered it is silent, and pulls great. I'd recommend the Rls over all the skimmers so far.

However is money isn't a issue, you may want to check out a Skimz. You can get one for around that $400 mark, and i love mine. I have the DC Leopard on my 200 gal FOWLR.

I have a rlss r6 on my 90 gallon it's the top of the line skimmer in my opinion, dead silent I use to have a aquamaxx cone 1 skimmer before I really didn't see a difference. I only believe in dc pumps myself I got mine on amazon for $340 packed really well but didn't come with any instructions, easy to put together and stopped making micro bubbles in about four hours.

I second the Curve 7 (what I have on my 93 cube), or even the Curve 9 if it will fit and your bioload is high enough. Best bang for your buck by far
