Looking for skimmer recommendations for my 40 aio, it will be going in the rear chamber. I have about a 6x4 inch space to work with. Currently looking at the tunze 9004 and the hydro slim skim. Anyone have any advice or insight? Thanks

Tunze 9004 was the best skimmer out there when I had my Innovative Marine 40 and it's still working well years later.

I also have a Reef Glass skimmer on a Waterbox 20 and wouldn't recommend that. It's not consistent and you have to change the wood blocks frequently.

I also recommend the Tunze 9004 :)

Either of you have the controllable dc pump one?

I do not, it's been a few years since I had a tank with a non controllable Tunze skimmer. It worked really well on a Red Sea Max 130D, I believe those were 34 gallons.
