Skimmer Sizing

Hi All,
have just had new sump built. have narrow space for skimmer, 200mm / 8"
I am thinking of using a reef octo 150 int as my skimmer. will have a 70L / 20 gallon refugium.


Currently using reef matt 500, nyos 300 and no fuge for heavy stocked 200gal mix reef.
new sump has fuge + 8" roller.

Will reef octo 150 be enough?

tank is 200gal.
a reef octo 150 will fit, is it enough skimmer for the tank with a big fuge

I’m sure it’s possible it could work, not sure how well though. I use a 150 int in my 48 gal.

Looks like deltec are another option., the deltec 1500i would fit too. might be better option

If you go to coralvues website they have open box skimmers for less. Hope you find the right one you’re looking for.
