ok guys i currently have 150gal system. i will be moving some time within the next year,when i move i plan to upgrade to a bigger system (probably around 250gal total water volume). i currently have a bk mini 180 which obviously aint gonna cut it on that big of a system. i have the opportunity to get a bk deluxe 250 for a awesome price right now. my question is would i be able to run this on my current system and my upgraded system (when the time comes) or is it gonna be overkill. u cant over skim can you? i know the general rule of thumb is get a skimmer double your total water volume, so should i jump on this deal? i think im under skimming now as it is. i have a pretty large bio load. tank is mixed but mainly sps and i have about 10 fish. thanks guys and sorry for the terrible grammar, im terrible when it comes to writing.
