Slight overhang on both sides

Hey all,

Hope you all can make me feel dumb for asking.

I got my 25 penn WB used, but it came with the free stand. The guy said he got the slightly larger stand (length-wise), but otherwise was the official wb stand.

I noticed today, most of the year gone by, that the edges do hang over by about an 1/16 of an inch.

Is this ok, and was this intentional? Or do I need to consider putting something underneath.
