We've had some mystery slime/jelly looking stuff our my tank for a while. It kind of comes and goes, but recently we've been seeing more of it. The jelly is mostly clear to a little cloudy, and it occurs in lines maybe 5 mm wide. It appears to be made of small egg-like sacs. It only appears on the rock, mostly inside of a relatively big hole/cave we have in the rock or other seemingly protected areas. It does not seem to care about light.

Mostly I'd like to know if it's harmful. It shows up only on the rock and doesn't appear to be harming any corals or other tank residents, but my husband and I are both confused as to what it is. It looks like someone could potentially be laying eggs, but Googling hasn't given us any clues as to who, as the eggs of our residents don't seem to match. Our tank is pretty basic with a female mandarin dragonet, a couple of scarlet hermit crabs, some cerith snails, nassarius snails, a skunk cleaner shrimp, and mixed corals.

Any ideas are helpful. Thank you!
