Hello all. I’m on day 14 of the fish less cycle. Ammonia is coming down and I have some nitrite. And over 4 ppm of nitrate. For the past couple of days I have noticed this slime / snot looking stuff in the tank. I can easily blow it off with a power head. I don’t have the lights on in the room. Will this go away on its own or do I need to take some actions?

I’m guessing it’s bacterial. I wouldn’t worry about it. It might be a sign you need more flow down the road. Good luck with your tank.
