slipper coral qustion

noticed last night that my slipper coral changed from green to brown is this normal if not what could cause it my water test show my nirates are at .40 that the only one that out

some call it a tongue coral no pic. can post some after work

Oh a tongue coral. Okay. Maybe it needs higher light? But not sure about it doing it over night...
