So i got a slipper lobster a few days ago and he appears to have only half of his legs or just nubs on one side. I was wondering if there is anything i can/should do for him? I really like him and he moves around the tank i just dont know how to help him survive, i know they will grow back eventually i am just wondering if maybe i should build him a special cave and put him in it? or would that just be more stressfull?
Any help is very much appreciated.

Also he cant flip himself over because of his legs, any extra info about these cool critters would be nice too.

If it's moving on it's own, then you don't need to make a cave for it. Every molt should allow for more leg regrowth. So feed it good and consider using an iodine supplement unless you know you have some in you water. Iodine helps crustaceans with molting.

yeah i looked at him and i guess i saw it wrong because he has all his legs but he is still having troubles so i guess it is something else. T o be honest i am kinda disappointed with this supplier i ordered a serpent star fish a slipper lobster and some algae and only the algae came in good shape. the starfish was missing a leg and it looked like it had been torn of recently.
