Found this guy crawling around on my branching frog spawn. Never seen a clam crawling around like this little guy. Any ideas what this little guy might be. I assume its harmless this particular tank is over grown so nothing has been added to it in years.

Definitely a bivalve of some kind, but I can't say which kind from the video (bivalve ID is tough, and while I can sometimes narrow it down to a family level, it's easier when I know which way the critter is supposed to be oriented, its preferred substrate, etc.). Some bivalves are facultatively mobile, so they can move around by pushing themselves with their foot like this.

It is indeed harmless and pretty neat.
