So, here we go again. My first tank was mostly fowlr. Had it going great for a few years, then everything went south. I couldn't keep anything in it alive. Frustrated I gave up and tore it down. When i got to the sump I found a pile of loose change under the pumps and left over macro algae. My kids were using tje sump as a wishing well. Fast foward to early feburary. My 7yo autistic daughter asked me to set it back up for her as a fresh water tank. So I did. In the process of getting it going again, I got hit by the salt bug again. So we shopped around for a tank. I decided to go with an aio. I decided on the waterbox 20. But could not get my hands on one. So we settled for the fluval flex 32.5 marine. Picked it up from my lfs, got it home and started planning it out. We picked up 30lbs of life rock, 20 lbs of live sand, a fluval m150 heater and 35 gallons of water. Got everything set up and flowing to cycle the tank. Then we
added a jeabo sow4 wave maker. We slowly started adding things, pair of midnight clowns, and small frags of corals ( zenia, lepastrea, favia, plate, flower pot, ricordia, polyps, and a wall frog spawn.) A couple of pieces at a time. Then i got an ato ( xtaqua duetto) which makes life easier. And just recently we added a ice cap k1 nano skimmer. Everything is doing great and looks healthy. Will slowly be adding more stock and equipment over time.
