Is there any type of smaller sized eel thats good for. 32 gallon tank. Ive been looking at some other types of fish i could get. I also do not want it to hurt any of my other fish.

Current inhabitants:

3 conchs
3 large turbo snail
1 pencil urchin-medium

no. A 32 gallon tank is not appropriate for an eel of any size. Minimum size I would put any of the small eels in would be a 80 gallon. The smallest eels (that are readily available) are minimum 2 feet long

No, smallest eel thats readily available is 2 feet. Not appropriate for a 32 gallon. I have 4 eels in my 300 gallon. They come out and swim a lot at night and love to stretch out and swim. Cant do that in a 32..
Dang, i looked up dwarf eels, those even wouldnt work?

Also theres really only one “dwarf” eel, its not in stock anywhere. The ones you can get are all minimum 2 feet. 3 of my eels are fully grown and very long. My 4th is a big eel

Okay ill skip eels until if i get a bigger tank. Are there any other unique types of creatures i can get if i dont get a starfish soon, ideas are welcome.

I 100% recommend a blenny! They are long and skinny and perch (to scratch the eel itch for now) and they have so much personality! This is my starry blenny who was in a 32 until I merged that tank with my big one. He is so cute!

Mine was fine. The only reason I moved him was because I shut down the tank because my corals just declined after doing well for a few months and I got frustrated. But he was just fine in my 32 gallon, he just perches.

A dwarf moray eel reaches a maximum of 12 inches but requires a minimum of a 55 gallon tank and that is the smallest type unfortunately.

Yes I'm getting a 55g solid so is it reef safe
Morays dont harm corals at all, its the inverts. But they can knock corals over when they crawl all over the rocks. Nutrients is also an issue with reefs since the eels produce a lot of waste

are one of these fine, only 30cm

gymnothorax richardsonii

there native where i live so will be easy to get
That would be fine in a 55. They may go after small, slender fish and inverts that can fit in their mouth, but they are compatible from a size perspective.
