Hi, looking to start up a hydros system, and wanted to replace my Sicce programmable glass heater with a dumb titanium heater. I actually have a 300 watt brs titanium from the hydros package I got used, but something tells me it will be too large for my ~15 gallon tank lol.

Do they make a 50 watt in titanium? This is for 110v by the way. I would prefer something physically smaller than the 300, I know brs has a 100 that would likely work but it’s just as large as the 300.

Thanks!

If you want, what have now ran for almost 6 months, IM Helios. I literally switched all my systems to them, and my brother also runs the same units. They hold temps like I have never seen before! Next level. My brothers tank in the house has yet to budge from 77*. He runs a 300wt helios on his 70g system. And it has an alarm build in which is nice.

I have a 2x100W Helios on my 26 gallon that I’m breaking down soon and it’s been great, very stable and accurate

I want to get a 2x200W for my new tank but they’re spendy so… later lol. Anyway I also highly recommend IM helios heaters in general

I firmly stand by buy once cry once. Have seen the issue of going cheap and crying many a times! No thanks.

I will eat ramen for a month to save up for proper equipment. Not saying that all expensive devices work perfectly but……. In this case that’s the stance. Haha.

Helios is nice, I was hoping to not have an additional heating controller. Do we know if the ends are welded or are they just glued?
