I think a k7 would cover the tank very well. Could mount it high and run it low if needed. That said I have no experience with the mini
I’m ending up going to get the K7 pro 3, I was thinking about having it 11" up, do you have an setting recommendations?

I only have my settings which I would be hesitant to recommend for someone elses tank because there are to many variables. They are strong lights so start off low. I'd recommend a par meter if at all possible. I'm very poor at judging par by eye.

I would probably go with the mini for that size tank. I have the pro over my Biocube 32.
+1 for k7 mini, they do have a defuser too, and, u dont really need the app, just search up best settings or something, and it'll be there, pretty straightforward
Sorry, I was on a trip, and didn't have access to internet while I was away. But Thanks for all the advice. I'll get the noopsyche k7 pro 3. However I was wondering of I should get the light shade, some people said I should, and a couple other people said for my size tank it would be fine without one. So, should I get the shade?

you should look at this chart: https://noopsychereeflight.com/blog...estion-for-reef-tank-sizes-2-5-to-510-gallons

the k7mini would fit your tank perfectly, its sized well, is a powerhouse and has everything you need as a beginner!

Another vote for noopsyche K7. Ran 6 over this 72x24x24" 180

They did so well I moved them over to my new 84x30x25 tank. They'll grow anything IME

Great bang for the buck light. The app isn't perfect but I use 4 apps for lights none of them are. The biggest issue is wifi can be difficult at times but I just connect using AP mode. Once the lights are set I don't usually change them much anyhow.
That’s a sharp looking tank.

Awesome set up! How did you mount them? Is that a custom bracket for all 6? I’m currently setting up a 72x24x30 and was thinking of using 5 of the k7

5 should work good. 6 was actually overkill but I wanted to be sure and get plenty of light where my clams were on the bottom.
They were actually attached to the wood canopy. Its wasn't fancy and wouldn't work over most tanks. I now have them on an 80/20 mount over my WB 330.7 84x30x25"

This black bare bottom? What material did you use if i may ask

It is bare bottom. I don't have anything down I just set the rocks in the glass. It's all I've ever done. I kicked around putting starboard down in this one but it has a huge single piece euro brace with three openings and I would have had to put pieces in so I decided against it.
