Snail breeding ?????

I have about 15 banded trochus snails that I moved from their 90 day quarantine tank into my main display today. So about an hour later, I notice, about 5 of them are releasing what looks like little dots (eggs?) and the rest of the snails are releasing a white milky substance (sperm?) . Is there anyone who can tell me if my suspicions are correct? Are they laying eggs and what are the chances these will hatch into good snails?

I’ve never had trochus snails spawning, but I think that’s what you have going on. The snail eggs I get are always in round spiral clusters. Good for you.

That is exactly what is going on. I have had them spawn in my tank and turn it cloudy as a result. The usually get up on the highest spot in the tank in the flow and release the larvae. I have had them actually grow in my tank and at one point I had over 50 in my tank. I am not sure on the chances though, like I said, I have had them grow and have had them become food for fish and corals.
