I just found this snail. It seems to be killing the other snail. Anyone know what it is for sure. I think it’s a cone snail and I probably need to get rid of it

Edit-- I finally saw the little snail! Yes, id remove it immediately!

It's just a top shell on it's back, trying to turn itself over. Beneficial algae eater.

Yes, but what PART of the snail is that? Are we looking at the back of the shell of the mystery snail? The siphon?
Its something i havent seen before.

Did my best to clean up the pic. The snail was killed and being eaten by whatever that thing is.

I agree that the thing circled in red looks odd/out of place.

OP - assuming that the thing circled in red is separate from the big snail in the pic, could you (very safely, not with your hands in case it is a cone snail) pull it out into a small container of tank water for pics of it under white light?
