Help me identify this possible snail. Never bought any snails guy showed up and has been growing steady is he harmful in anyway

It could be a baby trochus, astrea, turban, or something else entirely. Hard to tell with the pictures.

Most snails are fine, the only one that I can think of that isn't is a whelk.
That is NOT a whelk.
