snails keep crawling on my GSP and it’s causing the coral to close up. is this bad or stressful for the coral or will it be fine

I think they would be Ok. but why are they there? Ya think the snails are eating them? most likely they are algae in between .Do they hang out or just pass on thru?

I had the same question when the snail just went "mmmmph" onto the GSP frag (that is new and uncharacteristically shy), and the snail stayed on the GSP for hours. Must have been algae. GSP is totally fine now.

Great question!
I had one on a zoa last night. I did move him. Not taking a chance.

Can’t see how most polyps would like that.
