Snails stealing anemone's food

How do I keep snails from attacking my anemone when feeding? I have a newer anemone, maybe 3 months, in my tank. I've been trying to feed it bits of shrimp but the snails with their AMAZING sense of smell come from all corners to feast on it. They all bury themselves on top and steal it right from inside. I tried putting other pieces in another part of the tank and it keeps them occupied for a while but one or two of them still seek out the anemone.

Cut off the top third of a 2 liter bottle to create a feeding dome.
