Snowflake eel jumped out

So yesterday my snow flake eel jumped out of the tank even though i have my tank covered by the time i got him back in its was around 5 mins he went straight to his hiding spot and shed hes skin today i got home and hes still in their and wont eat im just worried any one could help out ? Thanks

Is tank covered and escape hole plugged? He will try to escape again, I've been there. grrrrrr

They are escape artists for sure. Mine has made an escape during a tank move and took about 5 min to catch him. They seem to rebound well....glad yours is!

Yes they'll repeat there tracks to get out. So make sure you cover all openings
