chalk one more up to visual cycling being ten times more accurate than titration test cycling

This system below was a live rock skip cycle

Accepting ammonia readings as fact without context and without tan conversions can be problematic

we have no idea if the original 5-8 ppm is even correct as stated but Aze accepts it unchallenged.

If Dan P hadn’t pointed out tan conversions to me I’d still be missing them too.

folks aren't really attaining 5 or 8 ppm ammonia in reefs though they post it by the minute. Try and find one single seneye post in recorded history showing that level at any phase of the tank, one single post. nobody can for a reason.

when we get tank pics and a tan conversion, how’s that cycle look

Why do pictures of a reef tank keep beating out testing for ascertaining free ammonia status, it’s not supposed to work that way but the links show otherwise.

we’re being capitalized on by bottle bac sellers if we as peers keep pressing the old order rules for cycling. Use updated rules, they’re providing quality work example links. there is no requirement in reefing to move down 2 ppm of ammonia overnite, that's a rule from bottle bac sellers given to buyers.

it is helping to generate massive, massive sales for bottle bac that would otherwise not be sold were the hobby using updated cycling science.
