I've been watching the price of Aquavitro Salinity salt go up every time I buy a bucket for the last couple of years. The last bucket I bought had very high Alk that did not match the batch label on the bucket. I've been reading about Fritz Pro RPM and saw it at Aquatic Obsessions so I thought I'd give it a try. Mixed up perfectly clear in under 15 minutes, something Salinity never did. I checked the majors and got:
Alk 8.5
Calcium 440
Mag 1400
As advertised. Its also where I keep my paramaters. I changed out 30 gallons which is just over 10% in my system and it didn't seem to bother anything. For $35 less a bucket for the same weight I guess I found a new salt.

Switched from red coral pro salt to basic instant ocean and have seen a whole change in my tank. No unnecessary algae everywhere
