I was going to say the exact same thing. It looks like my JTK also.
*shrug*

Looks just like this in person:

Give lower light a try. I have a colony in my display under high par that mostly has greenish polyps. When I cut frags for people I set them off to the side in low par and they develop orange polyps.

I received mine from Adam as well so I know it does get orange polyps.

Here is a few second video of the frags in low par with orange polyps.

Thanks for the reply. I'll try that. What PAR is "the side" for you?

Ours is getting about 265 PAR (at peak which isn't long) and has the yellow/orange polyps. I have a much "whiter" spectrum than most, not sure if that makes a difference for this one or not.

I'm running a 14k halide bulb so I think my spectrum should be pretty complete.

Mine has a mix of green and yellow/orange at around 400par. It's been a while since I've measured and have added a led sbar to the system. I have an 8bukb ATI T5 and Sbar about 18" above the waterline, and the SCOP is literally only 2" under the water.

Very nice. How are the polyps under just royal blue LED?

Under LED only, they are a super bright yellow fluorescent color, but my camera can't capture it with all the blue

With an filter it looks of orange?

The frag behind it still looks green, for comparison.

Sorry about the poor quality but this is straight from my iPhone 6. The top is the OP and the bottom is Joe the Coral.

Lighting is 250W 20K Radium.
