sochting oxidator advice needed please

hi Les, hoping you can help me before I order mine,
I run a reefer 525 litres, was considering the W model but this looks huge, would running the A be sufficient with 12% and one catalyst in the sump? or should I just go with the W? I heard the W at low concentration may well turn the H2O2 into water before its all released into the system.

your advise apreciated
Yeah the W is rather big. Can you accommodate 2 X model As? I run 2 it has 12% and 2 catalysts in my 100 gallon in my sump.

thanks for the reply Les,
so your running 2 A's both with 12% and 2 cats, this lasts you a fortnight between refills? I can look into it.. was trying to get away with just one unit tbh
maybe I can start with just 1? do you think id even see benefit?

12% lasts me a week not 2. Sure 1 would be better than nothing for sure. I have heavy stocking and am also a heavy Feeder 3/4 times a day. All things come into play.

Does the plastic reservoir empty when it's all used up and ready for refill? Mine has been in for the first 2 weeks, the bubbles have stopped, but there is still liquid inside the container, and I can't tell if the peroxide is spent or not. Does it empty or do you just change it out after 2 weeks? @atoll

Yes it empties. I fill mine every week and half or so.

Thank you. Mine was still 3/4 full after 2 weeks. Reefer 525xl using the A with 6% and 2 catalysts. I thought maybe it filled with tank water or something as it emptied the peroxide.

450 here. Also using the A with 2 catalysts. Not sure what's going on. 2 weeks and nearly full doesn't seem right.

I will be checking it again tonight when I do some maintenance

Although the catalysts were reconsidered everlasting apparently they work best when replaced periodically. How long have you had them?
