I was told this was a toadstool leather but I’m thinking it’s actually a finger leather?. It wasn’t “opened up” in the shop and it hasn’t opened in my tank. Though it’s only been two days and I know these types of corals can sulk etc

Devils hand/finger ,nice color...

Looks like a devils hand leather. It may be in a shed cycle. Leave it bee and give it time to get happy

Hmm bit annoyed then as I wanted a toadstool for the movement of the polyps etc

They do open up. Here’s mine open

Very nice color. Looks like a devil's hand leather, it will definitely get some movement once it starts growing and boy do they grow

Looks like it’s shedding at the moment as some of the polyps are also opening
