oops commented that before it loaded the next two pages. but yes, mushrooms grow ez pz, i wouldn't worry about messing them up when you break apart the rock

the only thing is though, with my luck the rock will split into 5 pieces.... instead of two

Out side bad idea. out side of water will be fine. They may slime up but thats fine. A few minutes out of water won't kill them.
