I have a 16 gallon nuvo tank. It is 12" deep. Want to upgrade lighting. I like all the features of the sol but do not know if to powerful for my tank. I am eventual going to upgrade, in the next 1 year or so. If anybody has had success in a 12" deep tank please let me know .

Thanks

if you buy a sol or a vega, you can just run it at a lower intensity.

i have a standard 75 gallon tank with two Vegas hanging about 8" above the water surface. they're both running at around 60 - 70% capacity and are BRIGHT, even to the sand bed which is roughly 28" below the lights, about 20 of those inches being underwater.
