Very nice. I have a 60 gallon cube right now and was looking at doing the same tank you have as my next project. Look forward to updates.

Very nice setup! Have to LOVE our cubes. I do have a question though. With the direction you faced the sump it looks like it would be a PITA to remove/swap out the filter socks. Has this been the case?

Almost have all of my equipment in the stand and running on the Apex. Still need to do the ATO and one mp10 though. Amazing how many pieces of equipment goes into a tank I have two eb8s and they are all full every outlet!

This ATI light is incredible! It is night and day the colors I am getting on my corals the acros especially. I have like five frags that were nice when I got them then faded and have been that way for months. It has only been 2 1/2 weeks since I moved them over under the ATI and they are getting more and more color everyday. Not surprising I guess after checking the par on them the ATI is putting out three times as much light as the Nove Extreme Pro that was on my Solana. I love this light!

This is one is a Reef Raft frag it has been ugly not brown but not much color now it is getting blue and the polyps are red as can be.

What brand of T5 tube and what combo are you using?

Look forward to the updates, I really enjoyed following your Solana thread.

Thanks hey how ya been?

It is an ATI eight bulb with six blue plus one coral plus and one purple plus.

I am about to switch the two blue plus that come on first for two actinic plus. I am hoping it will give me close to that moonlight look but I don't know I have never used them before.

I use ATI Actinics, they aren't as awesome as VHO or the old T8 actinics, but they do POP the fluorescent pigments much better than Blue+. The look is kind of like a purple tint with lots of fluorescence. Overall, I think go for it, it makes for an overall better spectral coverage for your corals.

I would only switch one dusk to dawn to actinic. I'm running one blue+ & one true actinic. Jimmy here is my combo as of yesterday.
Front to back six bulb ATI fixture
Blue+
Blue+
Coral +
Purple +
True actinic
Blue +
I was running all blue + with one coral+. I couldn't get all the colors out of my coral so I switched. I used to run all blue+, 1purple Coral+. The colors of my coral were better then. I also talked with ATI twice a while back and every time they told me to add a actinic bulb in the mix. I guess if actinic bulbs were not needed they probably wouldn't make them. I switched my bulbs so much and usually the happy eye color ends up not being the happy coral color.

Thanks red I think being that mine is an eight bulb the two actinics will be okay we shall see. If not I will just swap it back out with the BP. Thanks!

Yes sir I was thinking the same thing. If mine was a 8 bulb I would try it out to. Post up some picks after you swap them. The color and growth you get shows you know what you are doing.

Couldn't see it on the thread, but do you have the 24inch ATI unit or the 36inch version?
