Looking great dude! :) Nice to see this tank has progressed well. I'm currently fighting AEFW's myself...discovered yesterday! :( In terms of AEFW's what method worked for you to get rid of them 100%?

Whats up man how have you been! Good to hear from you!

Hate to hear about the worms! Not the end of the world tho for sure. I took out all of my acros and one big rock that had a few big colonies that I couldn't bare to cut off. I set up a 29 tall with a hob filter. Dipped them twice the 1st week 3 days apart. And once a week from there for10 weeks if I remember correctly. I lost a few but it was well worth it! I used the RPS all out and revive switched back and forth between the two.

Good luck!

Hey man, happy Xmas to you and your family.

Please post a new video of the tank.

How do you rate the colours in your new tank as opposed to the solana?

Merry xmas to you and your family as well! Should be a fun one for you with that new baby boy!

You know I miss my old solona and the simplicity of it and the colors were amazing. I do believe the colors are better overall with the new tank tho. With the extra 2 tubes and the leds as you know it is hard to beat this fixture!

Talking of your Solana, I re-read the whole thread yesterday...its exactly as you said it; the simplicity of it I really liked...and it produced some awesome colours on the acros.

When I read through, I saw you mentioned that you used Carbon and Phosguard in the Intank media basket; do you recall how much carbon and what brand you used to use?

I am trying not to use GFO in my current tank; and hope that by using Carbon and some periodic Phosguard I can keep things simple.

Cant remember the exact amounts but it was basically what was suggested on the package for the amount of water i had. I would usually use the matrix carbon or the brs. It would usually amount to about half of the media bags full.

Pics look great man. I made one of those look down things for my camera lens. I need one for my phone.

Now that you have one, how about a 5 minute long top down video??? That would be awesome! :D

Thanks man, that was awesome of you to record and upload that so promptly.

By the way, I heard ATI are coming out with a web based control system for the LED Powermodule. It is going to be a retrofit kit you install yourself. Im going to pick one up for sure when its released.
