So I have been reef keeping 25 plus years
Sps corals for the last 20 so I would think I am very educated on the hobby of reef keeping.
So for the last 6/8 months I am getting 3/4 year old colony’s melt in front of my eyes.
I have checked the water numbers 2000 times and there are good.
4 icp tests and they come back good.
I have done witch hazel treatment from moonshiners. I have done brightwell koral recover treatment .
I have done a round of cipro treatments .
Added a uv and ozone to the system and no success.
Any ideas ?????
I have dipped every coral I pulled out and found no bugs.

Some more this it the way it starts and takes 2/3 weeks to kill the colony

Following cuz I had this happen before to a few colonies... I assumed it was from bacterial infection

Could it be Stony coral tissue loss disease? I believe amoxicillin is the treatment for that.

amoxicillin Needs a prescription I believe in New York
Do you have an exotic vet nearby? I would take the pictures or even the coral and see if they can write a script for you. Better yet, call ahead and see.

I tried that with interceptor and he would not give it to me lol

Do you know the dosage amount ???

As stated, 500mg per 20 gallons every other day, not to exceed 8 days. Large water change at the end of the course. Pull carbon, skimmer is fine to use while dosing, but you'll probably want to tone it down a bit because it will overflow. Not might, will.
