Some help with Lights....

I have a 20 gallon,(30"x12"x12" or something like that) that has been converted to saltwater, it had a Fluval Planter 3. 32 Watt, (https://fluvalaquatics.com/us/shop/product/plant-3-0-bluetooth-led-32w-24-34-61-85-cm)
What I'm wonder is will this light work for soft corals, such as zoa's, mushrooms etc?
If not, what would be a good light for it? Budget is somewhat limited, but I'd rather spend a little more for a good light than regret it later trying save a few bucks.
I'll be glad to read through any old threads if anyone can direct me to some, even with the search function trying to find something here is a little overwhelming to someone not familiar with the forum.

Smatfarm, Nicrew, Popbloom some where between at least 60 and 90 watts. Look on Amazon. The Fluval light is for fresh water, and 35 watts might be OK but you're not going to see a lot growth or color.

That light will work for low level softies. Especially since the tank is very shallow. Without a lot of blue in the spectrum it won't have a lot of 'pop' from the corals. Leathers and mushrooms would be good in that scenario. I would probably also add decorative macro algaes. If you check out MJ aqua caping on YouTube, you can get some ideas and inspiration for that style of setup.

Pls keep in mind I know nothing about lighting an aquarium so...

Popbloom RL60 or Smatfarm
60 watts.

Either would be fine. Not too expensive and allows you to adjust intensity based on the corals needs.

That's plenty of light to grow soft coral if you run it at 100%. The only thing to be aware of is with that spectrum you're missing out on some of the blues that give a lot of fluorescing corals their "pop". Also that spectrum may increase your unwanted algae growth as well.

If you want to keep in cheap and cheerful Fluval do a marine line of lights as well. For your tank dimensions if you've got some cash to splash you could look at an AI Blade Grow. I've had great success with them and you usually find a deal second hand on eBay.

And a good light is a good investment, as your tank(s) grow and change if you've got a solid light you can always implement it somewhere.

Not in my opinion. If you like the blade look go for it. If I don't use a lid I just don't use that type fixture.
But it's about the look you want.
AI Blades are very popular with higher price but not exorbitant.
