They do look like clove polyps. They're stationary right?

They'll spread like zoanthids and mat outwards. Had them once in a tank. Over took nearly everything until I took those rocks out.

My wife likes the clove polyps. She made me spend way too much for a rock of them at the LFS one time.

They would make an ok filler... just wouldn't want them overtaking any of my SPS... are the invasive that way or are the more well behaved?

I'll keep the thread updated with what these do, they seem to have come up from under the Hawaiian Pocillopora... perhaps it was on the plug and I didn't see it. As long as it grows on empty rock and not over any of my corals I don't mind. So far they are growing away from the coral, not on it.
