So I found a couple of these feather duster looking things and was wondering if anyone had an idea what they are and if I should be concerned? Hopefully they’re just some free filter feeders that will benefit my tank instead.

In case the video doesn’t load here some screenshots of it. They do retract when I tap on the tank.

In-focus pictures under white light would help.

But these do look 'feathery'. They are pretty easy to tell apart from, say, aiptasia: Feather duster will be a very regular cone shape with arms that look like feathers. They are just hard to take good pictures of.

To be sure if you pull it out of the sand a tube worm is going to have a tube.

Hope this is better. Had another person tell me it was a feather duster as well.

Yeah duster. They looks very much like their names. I actually purposefully got a handful of the little ones from someone and just tossed them in the tank. They are great.
