Some kind of tube worm?

Please ignore the fact that the coral is chilling on a frag plug in the sand, it seems to like it there and I have commitment issues lol.

I saw this little guy on my clove polyps. The "feathery" end seems to retract when I mess with it. However, I do have some hydroids in my tank so I'm not completely sure if its that or some kind of tube worm.

Oops- just looked on my large screen rather than phone and its a tube worm which emits a fan to capture food.

Quite possible, but it just seems exceedingly skinny and long to be a new head compared to the rest of the growth

You should try touching it though, but be careful if it is a tube worm its fragile
