You have steroids in your tank recently. Those are some crazy progression shots!!!

LOL! (MY SECRET) 5gal water change every other day (Red Sea Coral Pro salt)...dose a 1/2 tsp of Buffered Sodium Ascorbate Vit C every morning before the lights come on...feed the fish once a day!

Thank you! Yes they do, HUGE difference! I only started this thread because I was scrolling through iPhoto on our computer...gotta love how it keeps your photos categorized by date!

5g WC every other day!!! I bet your nitrates arent an issue. But neither are mine 20g-30g weekly on 90g. But makes me wonder what else is in the salt that we're not testing for or adding.. I doubt your calcium, alk, or mag is even depleted ... Mine dont drop more than 30ppm (calcium) even after a week.. On a boarderline heavy stocked tank.

Why do you feel the need to buffer? I run 8.1ph in the summer and 7.9ph in the winter.. Vit C ? is that for the fish or the coral? Thought that was a fish food additive to provent disease.

My weekly routine was 20gal WC every Saturday...then I decided to try replenishing trace elements every other day (I actually keep a journal to track results) my corals have grown so much it frustrated me to try and keep count, so I stopped and haven't wavered from the 5gal routine since!

The Buffered Vitamin C was something I stumbled upon when I first joined R2R...there's a whole thread on dosing and it's benefits! (Yes, I read every single post in that thread) Vit C has numerous benefits for fish and coral, if you dose it correctly and maintain your water params.

I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but, I can't remember the last time I checked my water params. (other than salinity every other day, obviously)
